LUKE MALLET – WHARF WEAPON

27th August 2019

Luke Mallet has had some fantastic success this year on a variety of venues and has had a number of memorable sessions on the Wharf venue.

“I recently fished an overnighter at the Wharf. I arrived Sunday afternoon and after having a walk round i noticed a lot of fish in a weedy swim of the lake. I set up and within half an hour the left hand rod was away and I landed a cracking common known as the ‘birthmark common’ at a spawned out weight of 29lb 5oz. I continued to catch throughout the session and landed two more twenty pounders to 26lb 14oz, and a couple of doubles before packing up for work Monday morning.”

Luke has great confidence in the range of terminal tackle and soon found favour with the size 5 Curve Points for his choice of rig.

All fish were caught on Slip-D rigs using: Tungskin, micro ring swivels, curve point size 5, anti tangle sleeve and brown shrink tube.
