Si Bater is one of those anglers with a natural born hunters instinct. Passionate, focused and driven, he has built up an impressive portfolio of captures from around the country. Focusing his early adventures in and around the Kentish Stour Valley, Si honed his skills on the many gravel pits in the area. In more recent times he settled in on the famous Conningbrook venue, where he broke the British record, landing Two Tone at 65lb 14oz.
Travelling further afield, Si went on to pursue and catch the ultimate prize for many…Colnemere’s Black Mirror, and later on became the first angler to have caught two English 60’s when he went on to bank the sought after Chertsey mirror at a huge 60.4, during the spring of 2015.
Si is undoubtably an angler with a wealth of experience and knowledge on a wide variety of waters. With a larger than life character, and infectious enthusiasm for angling, he adds huge value to the team.
