The Hinge rig is without a doubt my favourite pop-up rig; if your spot isn’t clean, this rig ensures you are presented correctly 100% of the time. By using a semi-stiff boom section, you can use this rig over silt and other debris with ease. Sometimes it isn’t always about finding the cleanest of spots; it is more about fishing the spots where the carp want to be. As long as you get a drop and you’re not fishing in heavy weed, this rig will always be presented. Not only that, it is a renowned big fish rig, so you never know, your next bite could be your target fish!
