Some people are just born with a huge sense of adventure – Sam Jefferys is one of those people, and this has shown through in his angling path from a very early age. Strangely, it was in Cape Town, South Africa where Sam first found angling, but it was only once he was back in the UK, he was captured by the carp fishing bug.

From the early age of just 13, he was cutting his teeth on many of the central London park lakes, fishing alongside absolute chaos and the mad going-ons which these lakes were known for. He quickly grew tired of the busy banks of the UK, and this is where the real adventures started. Sam headed to the continent in search of big, wild waters and unknown carp! Morocco, Lac De St Cassien, Orient and Orellana to name but a few, and let’s just say this fire burns just a brightly now as it ever did.

With a warm character, and a relentless enthusiasm for angling, Sam is an angler with vast experience and knowledge on a wide variety waters, from the urban London rivers to the large foreign, inland seas and adds huge value to the Thinking team.
