TA|Insights | Chapter Seven | Short Session Angling | Ben Hamilton

7th March 2021

There aren’t many people out there with unlimited time to angle in, most have full time jobs and family commitments that keep them busy. Fishing is therefore an often-fleeting experience but is no less important and shouldn’t mean with the right amount of effort, no less successful than anyone else.

Ben Hamilton has always fished short sessions, and his approach is solely based on small windows of opportunity where he has to make his time count. He doesn’t make it easy for himself either, as we join him on his current target water, the ultra-busy, and highly demanding Burghfield, home to one of the biggest living carp in the UK!
