TA|Insights | Chapter Six | Small Water Challenge | Scott Lloyd

7th March 2021

Not everyone is lucky enough to live in arms reach of large venues, most have to make do with smaller, more intimate ones. Although you might think, the smaller the venue, the easier it is, this couldn’t be further from the truth! Small venues are notoriously difficult to master and take a unique approach to unlock their potential.

Taking him away from the larger venues he is used to, Scott Lloyd took on the task of tackling the historic Dolly Mill in North Lincolnshire. Once famously owned and ran by none other than Rod Hutchinson, this little lake is home to some fantastic northern characters that have without doubt seen every trick in the book. Watch closely as Scott pulls out all the stops to try and land his first north east carp!
