To some degree, it may have; lots of fish out there have names these days and it’s hard to find somewhere with a bit more of an air of uncertainty about it.

However, if you look hard enough, there are a few places that although might have a few known fish, still have an unknown element to them. This type of venue is what Si Bater subscribes to; tucked away from the rat race, catching carp on his own terms.
