I’ve been a carp angler since 1985 and have worked in the angling industry since 1996.
Between 1996 and 2012 I headed product departments for three of the leading tackle companies and since 2012 I have operated as a self employed angling guide and tutor.
I have been writing regularly in all of the leading magazines since 1999, and in late 2018 I published my first book, ‘Rolling in the Deep’.
My angling is very varied because of the client element, which has taken me to a huge number of different waters across the southern and middle UK. My personal fishing tends to favour very low stock waters, chasing rarely caught carp. Most of my fishing is boilie angling but I am also a passionate floater angler and margin stalker.”
